High-end audio doesn’t need to demand attention to make an impression. In this modern home in Brasschaat, Woelf created an audio system in which interior design, architecture, and technology blend seamlessly together.

The spacious living area, designed by architect Dirk De Meyer, is defined by expansive windows, warm materials, and a distinctly minimalist architectural style. An environment where visible loudspeakers would quickly detract from the overall design. The solution was found in a fully integrated high-end audio system from Wisdom Audio. Wisdom Audio.

The vision

The vision was as clear as it was challenging: to create an uncompromising music experience without making any concessions to the interior design.

The architecture had to remain the guiding principle. No traditional loudspeakers disrupting the sightlines, but a solution that would become an integral part of the space. At the same time, the system needed to fill the large, open-plan living area with powerful, detailed, and natural sound.

A perfect balance of aesthetics and performance, where the technology makes its presence felt when you want to hear it, yet remains virtually invisible when not in use.

The end-result

Woelf integrated two Wisdom Audio LS4i Line Source loudspeakers directly into the architecture of the space. Thanks to their slim in-wall design, the speakers virtually disappear into the tall custom-built wall, while Line Source technology ensures wide and consistent sound coverage throughout the living area.

For the low frequencies, two Wisdom Audio S110i RTL subwoofers were seamlessly integrated. Together with two Wisdom Audio SA-3 amplifiers, they create a system that not only delivers impressive sound, but also remains completely in service of the interior design.

The result perfectly demonstrates what high-end AV integration is all about: technology that isn’t added to an interior as an afterthought, but is considered an integral part of the architecture from the very beginning.
